Shadiya Omar was given a suspended jail sentence after attacking Justin Lloyd with the heel of her Christian Louboutin stiletto.

A British student has avoided jail after stabbing a man in the eye with her stiletto heel in a fight.

Shadiya Omar, 22, attacked Justin Lloyd with her Christian Louboutin heel after a night out.

Omar was waiting for a taxi in Manchester when Lloyd approached her friend, reported Mirror Online.

He offered the woman a chip from a bag he was eating. When she refused, allegedly smacking his bag of chips, he poured the bag over her head and Omar lashed out in her friend’s defense.

The stiletto heel pierced Lloyd’s left eye, and he had to pull it out himself. Police arrived shortly after and arrested Omar.

Lloyd, 22, was taken to hospital suffering from bruising, bleeding and a fracture to the eye.

Manchester Crown Court heard it was a miracle Lloyd did not lose his eyesight, but suffers with stabbing pains since the attack in October 2014.

Omar told the court she had only removed her shoes because they were hurting and was not intending to use them as a weapon.

A victim impact statement from Lloyd read out in court said he was forced to quit work as a laborer and has become anti-social.

“It is just lucky I have got my eyesight to be honest,” he said afterwards.

Judge Lindsey Kushner said “I accept it was a moment of spontaneity — a spontaneous reaction. It was in a situation of hassling and ostentatious behavior, as far as your friend was concerned persistent irritation.”

The judge sentences Omar to 18 months imprisonment, suspended for two years.

Omar must also complete six months of unpaid community work and supervision, as well as pay a $ 150 victim surcharge fee.
