She continued to upload posts of Petty — including one refuting early reports that he had died — and continued to share images of her father after the “Free Fallin'” singer’s death was announced.
A pair of heartbreaking photos showed AnnaKim with tears in her eyes, including one she posted Tuesday afternoon.
“The amount of pain you feel will one day be the amount of joy you experience,” she wrote, before thanking her friends, the hospital and her father’s fans for the support.
She captioned another photo of Petty, which she posted Monday, “I love you my angel.”
Petty died Monday evening at the age of 66, one day after going into cardiac arrest.
AnnaKim, an artist, is the youngest of his two daughters. Her older sister, Adria, is a director who notably helmed a pair of Beyoncé’s music videos: “Countdown” and “Sweet Dreams.”
