Pope Francis heads to Washington, D.C., in a Fiat 500L after landing in the U.S. Tuesday.
DON’T EVEN THINK OF POPE-ING HERE!
This really is a miracle: The Pope will be able to find a parking spot in Times Square, should he decide to visit the Crossroads of the World. The city’s Italian-American eateries all want a Pope Francis appearance during his stay here, but Seventh Ave. Italian restaurant Buca Di Beppo has sweetened the offer by humorously reserving a parking spot outside for the papal Fiat 500.
The tongue-in-cheek sign above it reads, “Reserved for Popemobile,” before warning us regular folk, “Ten Hail Marys if you park here.” “One of the things that Pope Francis misses (from his prepapal days) is just being able to pull into a place and grab a slice of pizza, without all the commotion,” the restaurant’s owner Robert Earl told us. “So while he’s in New York City we’ve reserved VIP parking so he can quickly stop in for a slice or two and get back to his busy schedule.”
Meanwhile, Famous Amadeus on Eighth Ave. and 50th St. — a hole-in-the-wall pizzeria beloved of Lady Gaga — tells us that it commissioned a local artist to design a pizza box to commemorate his Holiness’ stay in the Big Apple from Friday to Saturday. The illustration on the top features a sketch of the former Cardinal Bergoglio sitting on an A train with a sign saying, “Next Stop: Madison Square Garden,” a reference to the location of the papal Mass on Saturday.

WHERE’S THE BEEF? AT TRACY’S
Nothing says “wedding gift” like a side of beef — which is what Old Homestead Steakhouse owners Greg and Marc Sherry sent to Tracy Morgan and wife Megan Wollover following the Emmys. The Meatpacking District eatery is Morgan’s favorite — and not only for eating. He once got a haircut and a shave at the bar before a magazine shoot. The Morgans, also newlyweds, got porterhouse, sirloin and ribeye steaks, along with signature steak sauce, Champagne and a card reading: “Congrats to a stunning couple!” We hear Morgan grilled the goods for his gang.
