She’ll be home for Christmas.
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice was released from prison Wednesday morning after serving nearly a year behind bars for barnkrupcy fraud.
The mom of four walked out of the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn., just after 5 a.m., her lawyer told People. She’ll travel back to her house in Montville, N.J., where she’ll be on home confinement until Feb. 5.

Giudice has been at the prison since January. She and her husband, Joe Giudice, pleaded guilty last year to bankruptcy fraud. They admitted hiding assets from bankruptcy creditors and submitting phony loan applications to get some $ 5 million in mortgages and construction loans.
Joe Giudice is expected to start his own prison sentence in March. A federal judge staggered the couple’s sentences in deference to their four daughters, 14-year-old Gia, 10-year-old Gabriella, 9-year-old Milania, and 5-year-old Audriana.
Giudice has been at the prison Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury since January.
Giudice has requested a Starbucks stop during the hour-and-a-half car ride home since she has been “craving a cappuccino” while behind bars, a source told the Daily News.
