A teenage boy was shot and killed on a Queens street Thursday, police said.
The 15-year-old victim was hit in his stomach and hand on Beach Channel Drive by Beach 47th St. in Far Rockaway just after 4 p.m., cops said.
Medics took the teen to Long Island Jewish Northwell Children’s Center, where he died, cops said.
Police have not yet released the victim’s name, and search continues for the killer. Investigators believe the shooting was gang-related, police sources said.
One neighbor, who wouldn’t give his name, said the gunfire rang out right outside his doorstep.
“I heard the two shots,” he said. “By the time I got to him he was (laying) on the floor and unresponsive. I just tried to talk to him and keep his eyes open.”
He added, “It’s sad. My kids go to school back and forth here. It’s very disturbing.”
