You can’t tie “Supergirl” down.
Melissa Benoist, who stars in the CW series, is back on the market after her divorce from husband Blake Jenner was finalized on Wednesday, TMZ reported.
The couple was married for four years.
According to TMZ, Benoist, 29, and her estranged hubby reached a property settlement agreement outside of court. They told a judge they were both clear on which party was getting what.
The actress filed for divorce nearly a year ago, citing irreconcilable differences according to a post from the outlet. She also sought to block the court’s ability to award her or Jenner, 25, spousal support.
Her final request in the filing, obtained by the publication, was that her last name be changed back to Benoist.
Neither she nor Jenner discussed their divorce in the interim between filing and finalizing.
Sources told Us Weekly distance may have played a role, citing Benoist’s frequent trips to Vancouver, Canada, to film the superhero TV series.
“The distance was an issue, things weren’t working,” the anonymous source said at the time. “It’s amicable and mutual.”
Although their divorce was only just finalized, Benoist has long since moved on. She’s been linked to on-screen love interest Chris Wood since early 2017.
