Football fever took San Francisco by storm Friday as celebrities, sports stars and even the occasional casual fan began partying their way through the weekend — with their sights on Sunday’s Super Bowl.
The beautiful and the brawny gathered at gridiron-inspired soirees across the City by the Bay.
Chanel Iman, the Giants’ Victor Cruz and Mark Herzlich were spotted at ESPN’s 12th annual Super Bowl event, dubbed ESPN The Party, at the Fort Mason Center.
The event featured Nick Jonas, who was joined by brother Joe and his new band, DNCE, in a surprise performance of their latest hit “Cake by the Ocean.”
Across town, Iggy Azalea took the stage at the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl Party attended by Samantha Hoopes and Nina Agdal.
Cuba Gooding Jr., Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, 50 Cent, Shawn Merriman, Chuck Lidell and AnnaLynne McCord strutted their stuff at the Playboy Super Bowl 50 Party at AT&T Park.
There was also the Bleacher Report’s Bleacher Ball that drew stars like Alyssa Milano and Conan O’Brien, and the “Entourage”-themed Leather & Laces Mega Party hosted by the show’s stars Emmanuelle Chriqui and Jeremy Piven.
Pharrell Williams performed at Pepsi Rookie of the Year Awards at Pier 70. On Saturday, Jon Bon Jovi and rapper Wiz Khalifa both attended the Fanatics Super Bowl party.
And the main event, Super Bowl 50, will kick off at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., when the Denver Broncos take on the Carolina Panthers. Coldplay and Beyoncé will perform for the halftime show.
