Simon Cowell’s young son has already picked up some of his father’s bossy traits.
While sitting down with Extra TV correspondent and ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour to promote his upcoming stint as a judge for “America’s Got Talent,” Cowell’s 20-month-old son, Eric, came walking through the set.
Looking the spitting image of his father (and having the same heavy British accent), little Eric seemed to enjoy busting up the interview.
“Can you say your name?” Cowell, 56, asked his young son who murmured in a high-pitched voice, “Eric.”
Seymour asked the former “American Idol” judge which mannerisms has his son copied. “When he wants something like me he just says it over and over again,” Cowell answered.
Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman began dating while she was still married to Cowell’s friend, Andrew Silverman.
Before making his exit, Eric tricked Seymour into thinking that he was going to share a carrot with her. The sneaky gesture garnered automatic praise from his tough dad. “That’s my boy,” Cowell said.
Cowell became a first-time dad in February 2014 with girlfriend Lauren Silverman. The couple’s union was marred with controversy because Silverman was still married to Cowell’s friend, real estate mogul Andrew Silverman, at the time.
The Daily News’ [email protected] revealed in August that Silverman is now engaged to Samantha Lerner, a widow with two sons.
