Simon Cowell has a “bit of a concussion” following being rushed to the hospital Friday after falling down a flight of stairs in his London home.
The “X Factor” host awoke in the middle of the night and felt dizzy before attempting to head down stairs for a glass of hot milk and then fainted and tumbled down the flight, a source close to Cowell told the Daily News.

Cowell is scheduled to be at the live taping of the hit reality series “X Factor” on Saturday. He was unsure as of Friday afternoon if he would make it to the taping.
“I’ve got a bit of concussion,” he said, according to SWNS. “I feel better now.”
In the video of Cowell approaching his front door, he appears to be wearing a monitor under his shirt.
Cowell, 58, was taken away on a stretcher, wearing a neck brace, before being loaded into an ambulance between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., according to reports.

He underwent a CAT scan and does not appear to have a serious injury. After spending a few hours in the hospital, Cowell was released and driven back to his London home where he gave the thumbs up before going inside.
Cowell also serves as host on “Britain’s Got Talent” and “America’s Got Talent” and is widely known for his previous judging gig on “American Idol.”
