There was nothing vanilla about this wedding toast.
As shown in a video that’s going viral, a bride’s sister took her maid-of-honor duties to the next level, forgoing the traditional speech in favor of a rap song to the tune of the timeless classic, “Ice Ice Baby.”
“My little sister is all about music,” Rachel Winterbottom explains in the clip, which was uploaded to YouTube last week. “But I can’t sing. I really, really, really can’t sing.”
“But what I can do, Hayley, is rap.”
With that, she launches into a hilarious hip-hop set, ribbing the bride for her Facebook habits and the groom for his attention to fitness.
“Dizzy, there’s nothing she can’t lose,” Winterbottom raps. “Keys, bag, phone — but never her booze.”
Hayley O’Brien — who married Paul O’Brien in Cheshire, UK, a year ago — posted the song’s lyrics with the clip on Feb. 2. So far, it’s been viewed more than 550,000 times.
“She was brilliant,” O’Brien said to one YouTube commenter. “I’m her MOH in 4 weeks — pressure is on!”
