School bus crash injures eight people in Brooklyn

Eight people — including five children — were injured in a school bus accident in Brooklyn, officials said.

The bus slammed into another vehicle and ended up on its side at about 3:30 p.m. at 10th Ave. and Bay Ridge Ave. in Dyker Heights, an FDNY spokesman said.

Medics rushed eight people to Lutheran Medical Center and Maimonides Medical Center.

All patients, which included five children and three adults, had minor injuries, authorities said.

City Education Department officials wouldn’t say which schools the kids attend and disputed any kids were injured.

“FDNY and EMS immediately responded to a serious bus incident that took place in Brooklyn this afternoon,” said Education Department spokesman Michael Aciman. “There were no injuries, families are being notified and we are providing additional supports.”

Police were investigating. No charges had been filed.
