“Shut Up and Drive” along Rihanna Drive in Barbados.

Westbury New Road in the St. Michael area of Barbados is now known as Rihanna Drive after the island nation’s Prime Minister dedicated the street to the popstar on Thursday. The block is where the singer grew up before exploding onto the international music scene.

Rihanna shared this image to her Instagram story, sporting blue hair, on Aug. 7, 2017.

The “Love on the Brain” singer gave a speech at the dedication ceremony.

Her statement was also included on the dedication plaque.

“My whole life was shaped on this very road,” Rihanna said. “I was just a little girl riding bikes, running around barefoot, and flying kites in the cemetery, but I had BIG dreams. Dreams that were born and realized right here. Thank you to my family, my country and the people of Westbury New Road! You will forever be a part of who I am, and for that I am honored to have this place named after me.”
