Off-duty cop arrested for driving drunk in East Harlem

An off-duty NYPD cop was caught drunk driving Friday — a month after he was stripped of his badge for a Brooklyn car crash, police said.

Terence Williams, 30, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. after officers spotted him driving erratically in East Harlem, cops said.

Williams was already on modified duty for plowing his Infiniti into a guardrail on Dec. 7, authorities said.

Sources told the Daily News that Williams, a seven-year veteran, was going up to 90 miles per hour when he crashed.

The NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau was investigating that accident, sources said.

After that smash up, Williams was transferred from his distinguished post as the community affairs officer at Police Service Area, records show.

He is charged with driving while intoxicated in Friday’s bust and has been suspended without pay.
