Marilyn Manson cancels tour dates after onstage accident

Marilyn Manson is taking a few weeks off after being injured on stage during his New York show Saturday night.

The singer has canceled shows from Oct. 2 to Oct. 14, including stops in Boston, Toronto, Camden, New Jersey, Chicago and Houston.

All shows are expected to be rescheduled.

Manson was hospitalized Saturday night after two oversized prop pistols fell on him about 45 minutes into his show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan.

Ciro Castro, a Queens native who was in the second row, told the Daily News that Manson lay motionless for almost 10 minutes as emergency responders lifted him onto a stretcher.

The 48-year-old singer is planning to recuperate at home in Los Angeles.
