An elderly Brooklyn man was indicted on Friday on charges he murdered a pal.
Eugene Scott, 71, slowly walked into Brooklyn Supreme Court with his hands handcuffed in front of him and stood next to his attorney Sam Karliner.
He was indicted on second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges for the Oct. 20 slaying of 44-year-old Mora Lyons.
Scott had gotten into a drunken mid-afternoon argument with Lyons on the corner of Nostrand Ave. and Ave. D in Flatbush when Scott allegedly pulled out a gun and fired a single shot into Lyons’ chest.
Lyons died at Kings County Hospital.
Karliner entered a not guilty plea on his behalf for the second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police did not recover the murder weapon, according to court documents.
If convicted, Scott faces 25 years to life in prison.
