Man in life-threatening condition after motorcycle crash in Mississauga

A Peel police officer was injured while investigating a stolen vehicle in Mississauga Friday afternoon.

A man is in life-threatening condition after a motorcycle collided with an SUV in Mississauga on Friday, Peel police said.

Around 9 p.m. Friday evening, Peel police and paramedics were called to the area of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Homelands Drive.

Paramedics found a man who had been riding a motorcycle suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a trauma centre, police said.

Roads in the area are expected to remain closed for the next several hours as police investigate.
