Lil Peep, the Long Island-raised rapper who died last week in Arizona, took a nap and never woke up, a police report reveals.
The 21-year-old artist — whose real name was Gustav Ahr — had been scheduled to perform in Tucson last Wednesday when he dozed off around 5:45 p.m. ahead of the show, TMZ reported, citing the police report.
One of Lil Peep’s managers checked on him at one point and saw he was breathing fine, but he was unresponsive by the time a second manager checked in on him later that evening.
Xanax pills, marijuana and an undisclosed tan powdery substance were found by police when they made it to his tour bus, according to the celebrity gossip website.

Police have said an official cause of death won’t be known for at least six weeks, but suspect it was the result of an overdose.
Lil Peep was an up-and-coming artist whose musical set list features lyrics about heavy topics like drugs and suicide.
