Kesha is taking her talents to the small screen as her musical career remains on hold amid her legal battle with Sony.
The pop star will guest star on an upcoming episode of “Nashville,” playing herself, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The acting news comes a month after the “Tik Tok” singer broke down in tears when her request to no longer work with her alleged rapist, Dr. Luke, was denied.
On Friday, around 40 fans rallied outside Sony’s headquarters in Manhattan to demand the 29-year-old be released from her Sony contract.
Several other stars, including Lady Gaga, Adele and Arianna Grande have supported the artist since her preliminary injunction was denied.
The singer’s acting gig is her latest move into television work.
Last year, she appeared on “Jane the Virgin” as the titular character’s nosy neighbor.
Previously, she had a role in the movie “Jem and the Holograms.”
“Nashville” returns for its mid-season premiere on Wednesday, and will also feature cameos from country stars Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rett, also playing themselves.
The exact airing date for Kesha’s episode has not yet been announced.
