A reality TV star who was arrested earlier this month for choking his teenage daughter now claims she may have set him up.
“Ink Master” contestant Chris Blinston believes his 13-year-old daughter researched online how to make it look as if she was strangled just before pointing the finger at her father, Blinston’s attorney told TMZ.
The tattoo artist — who appeared on Season 6 of the Spike series in 2015 — has reportedly “obtained info” that the teen used her school’s computer to research ways to create bruises on one’s neck.
A judge has granted Blinston’s motion to obtain records from the school’s computer, according to the gossip site.
Blinston was arrested Sept. 1 on charges of felony domestic battery by strangulation after he allegedly choked his daughter twice, so hard that he cut off her airway for 6 to 7 seconds.
The tattoo shop owner was reportedly busted after the teen told a therapist of the abuse, and the therapist alerted authorities.
Strangulation marks were reportedly found on the teen’s neck.
Blinston, who was released on $ 6,000 bail, has maintained his innocence.
