“Game of Thrones” co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are getting a much happier ending than Jon Snow and Ygritte.
Harington and Leslie, who play the characters on the hit HBO series, are engaged, five years after their on-screen counterparts sparked a love connection of their own, People reports.
The pair took their real life romance out of Westeros in 2012, when they sent tongues wagging — and the fandom into chaos — with a London dinner date.
After several years of an on-and-off courtship, Harington and Leslie officially confirmed their status as a couple in April 2016.

A month later, the curly-haired heartthrob opened up about how the romantic “Game of Thrones” set in Iceland lent itself well to falling in love.
“Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love,” he said last year while explaining why filming Season 2 in Iceland was his favorite time on the show. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
Harington previously praised Leslie’s sense of humor, long before confirming that they were, in fact, an item.
“We share a very similar sense of humor, which is always good,” he said. “We just laughed as much as we could and actually had a great time. It’s great when you find someone like that.”

Harington and the red-headed beauty, both 30, moved in together this past summer into a $ 2.27 million home in the English countryside, he revealed to James Corden.
“I’ve moved in with my other best friend, Rose. I’m very, very happy and it’s going well. She has all sorts of ideas for the house,” he said.
A rep for Harington previously shot down engagement rumors earlier this summer.
Reps for the couple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
