Super diva Mariah Carey is putting together a new management team, but that doesn’t involve her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, which is a rumor that’s been making the rounds.
Instead, we’re told that former BET boss Steven Hill is advising the “Hero” singer as she regroups.
Carey and her longtime manager Stella Bulochnikov confirmed to theblast.com last week that they had parted ways after working together for three years. The site also reported that Tanaka “has gotten more and more involved in Mariah’s day-to-day work schedule and overall career.”
Mariah Carey got her Hollywood star at the TCL Chinese theatre in Los Angeles on Nov. 1.
But we’re told that should not be interpreted to mean that Carey, 47, has hired her 34-year-old choreographer boyfriend as her “manager.” Whoever does get the gig on a full-time basis will have plenty to do.
TMZ reported on Wednesday that Carey was being sued by her former security team, which claims they’re owed money.
