VENICE BEACH, Calif. – Facebook said this week that a whopping 8 billion videos are being viewed daily. So what’s next? Is Facebook set to surpass YouTube? Can we look to TV shows and movies in the news feed down the road?

We led this week’s #talkingtechLIVE podcast discussing Facebook, and also weighed in on the launch of the new Apple TV, the online storage wars and Microsoft’s decision to pull back on One Drive usage fees. The Flickr photo sharing app updated with a new version to work with 3D Touch, the new feature on the iPhone 6S, and the home sharing biz got a huge boost this week. Voters in San Francisco declined to put curbs on AirBnb rentals, while Expedia swallowed up Airbnb competitor Homeaway for $3.9 billion.

We also introduce you to tech startups.
