Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan’s boyfriend mourns her death

The untimely death of Cranberries frontwoman Dolores O’Riordan left her boyfriend with a broken heart.

Olé Koretsky — who was in a band with O’Riordan called D.A.R.K. — mourned the loss of the acclaimed artist in an emotional homage posted to the group’s website after she was found dead Monday at the age of 46.

“My friend, partner, and the love of my life is gone. My heart is broken and it is beyond repair,” Koretsky said in a statement.

“Dolores is beautiful. Her art is beautiful. Her family is beautiful. The energy she continues to radiate is undeniable,” Koretsky continued. “I am lost. I miss her so much. I will continue to stumble around this planet for some time knowing well there’s no real place for me here now.”

O’Riordan joined D.A.R.K. in 2014, five years after Koretsky founded the group with The Smiths bassist Andy Rourke.

It’s unclear how long she and Koretsky had been dating.

The three-person band — for which O’Riordan and Koretsky each provided lead vocals — released an album together in 2016, and she had been working on new music for the group at the time of her death.

Her former band members hope to release the music she was working on in the future, according to the post.

Death of Cranberries’ Dolores O’Riordan not suspicious, cops say

Rourke also shared a tribute to O’Riordan on the website.

“I am heartbroken and devastated by the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Dolores,” he said. “I have truly enjoyed the years we spent together and feel privileged to call her a close friend.

“It was a bonus to work with her in our band D.A.R.K. and witness firsthand her breathtaking and unique talent. I will miss her terribly. I send my love and condolences to her family and loved ones.”

O’Riordan — the voice behind classic Cranberries hits such as “Zombie” and “Linger” — was discovered dead in her hotel room in London.
