Cleanthony Early shared a photo from his hospital room on Thursday a day after he was set upon by masked men, robbed and shot in the knee outside a Queens strip club.
Detectives are zeroing in on Brooklyn as they search for the pack of thieves who shot and robbed Knicks guard Cleanthony Early as he left a Queens strip club on Wednesday.
Investigators tracked the hoopster’s stolen cell phone to the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of the borough before the bandits deactivated the device, police sources said.
Early, 24, was shot in the right knee after three cars surrounded the Uber cab he was riding in with gal pal Iliani Douge after leaving CityScapes in Maspeth.
Iliana “Nikie” Douge (pictured) was with Knicks player Cleanthony Early when he was robbed and shot in Queens early Wednesday, December 30, 2015.
At least four men stole Early’s two gold chains, worth $ 9000, along with his cellphone, police said.
The jiggle joint was nearly set on fire a day later, when someone threw a makeshift Molotov cocktail at the building. Cops have not linked the cases.
The Uber car is towed from 64th Street near Tyler Avenue.
