Brooklyn woman raped at gunpoint by stranger in her home

Cops are asking the public’s help tracking down a sicko who burst into a woman’s Brooklyn home and raped her at gunpoint, police said.

The 29-year-old victim was sleeping in her home near Dekalb and Wilson Aves. in Bushwick when she heard her front door open about 1:30 a.m. Monday, cops said.

A stranger walked in, pointed a silver handgun at her and raped her. He then stole some of her possessions and fled.

The victim was treated at Woodhull Hospital.

Cops released a surveillance photo and a sketch of a suspect early Tuesday. The photo shows him entering a store dressed in a grey hoodie and running shoes.

The suspect is described as black, 34, 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds.
