Two Staten Island Boy Scout leaders were arrested Friday night after police found a massive stash of heroin and guns in one of their homes, police sources said.
Members of the Staten Island Narcotics Heroin Overdose Task Force arrested Alan Soler, 44, and Kevin Saunders, 25, at Soler’s New Brighton house just after 5 p.m., cops said.
Both men were slapped with dozens of drug and weapons possession charges, as well as reckless endangerment and acting in a manner injurious to a child, police said.
Soler was also charged with resisting arrest.
Investigators found 277 bags of heroin, scales, drug packaging, a shotgun and imitation pistols at the home, cops said.
The men are suspected to be linked to at least one heroin overdose in the borough, sources said.
The Boy Scouts of America did not immediately return a request for comment.
