Boston Marathon bombing victim Kevin White speaks after he’s released from Boston Medical Center on April, 17, 2013.
A Boston Marathon bombing survivor died of a “sudden illness this past weekend,” his family said.
Kevin White, 37, of Bolton, Mass., was with his parents near the finish line in 2013 when he was knocked out by the first of two bombs. “He will be missed, and the world will miss all of the experiences he had yet to have,” White’s brother said in a statement publicized by Marathon Coalition, a running group.
Kevin White was with his father, whose lower right leg was amputated, and his mother, who suffered a broken arm and foot.
White’s father, Bill, had his lower right leg amputated and his mother, Mary Jo, suffered a broken arm and foot.
