It’s super bad news.
Bill Hader and his wife Maggie Carey are getting a divorce after 11 years of marriage, a rep for the comedian confirmed.
Hader and Carey — who is a Hollywood director and screenwriter — split this past July, according to People magazine, which was first to report the separation.
The “Superbad” actor and Carey have three daughter together: 8-year-old Hannah, 5-year-old Harper and 3-year-old Hayley.
They met in Los Angeles through one of Carey’s college friends, who was in the same sketch comedy group as Hader.
They moved to New York together after Hader joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live” in 2005, a show he spent eight seasons on.
Hader moved to Los Angeles after “SNL” because it allowed him to be with his wife on a full-time basis.
“The whole reason we’re moving to California is that we’re tired of being apart all the time,” he told USA Today in 2013. “Doing SNL was a huge time commitment. You’d have weeks off and you’d have to go to L.A. It’s about rolling with the punches.”
In addition to “SNL,” Hader, 39, is known for his performances in movies such as “Superbad,” “Hot Rod” and, more recently, “Trainwreck.” He also helped create the voice for the “Star Wars” droid BB-8.
Carey, meanwhile, directed the 2013 comedy “The To Do List,” which Hader starred in. She’s also directed a pair of episodes of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” starring Andy Samberg, since 2016.
