LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities in Southern California say they’re no longer looking for a Hollywood visual effects producer who went missing because he has turned up in Mexico.
In a brief statement Friday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said 27-year-old Eric Kohler is in La Paz, Mexico, and is no longer considered a missing person.
On Tuesday, authorities sought the public’s help in finding Kohler, who had last been seen driving away from his office a week earlier.
Kohler helped create digital effects for movies like “Pirates of the Caribbean,” ”The Avengers,” ”San Andreas” and “X-Men.”
