Where ever Amy Schumer goes, her little sis will follow.
“Amy’s my sister, so I do whatever she does,” Kim Caramele, who is the writer/producer on “Inside Amy Schumer” joked to the audience at the Writers Guild Award Television nominee’s panel on her relationship with her famous sibling. “Before that I was a school psychologist. And I have a dog named Abbott and he has three legs. Thank you.”
Caramele was also a producer on “Trainwreck” and is working with Schumer on an upcoming comedy project with A-lister Jennifer Lawrence.
Caramele may want to do everything Schumer does, but the feeling certainly seems mutual.
The comedian’s social media is flooded with adorable and hilarious photos of the two, and humor clearly runs in their family.
Caramele had the room at the Writer’s Guild Awards rolling in laughter when she poked fun at her fellow producer Joe Weisberg (“The Americans”) on what he’s watching at home.
“’French Village’ about some French village during the war,” he explained.
“So it’s like a rom-com?” she quipped, adding that one of her personal TV favs is “Judge Judy.”
Schumer has big things happening in the months to come and will no doubt have Caramele by her side.
Schumer will be featured in an upcoming politically-themed Super Bowl ad campaign called “The Bud Light Party is Coming,” also starring Seth Rogen.
Pescatelli ended up having her tail between her legs and decided to back off on the issue.
“I was the last to the party, and I drank the most and I was the loudest,” Pescatelli said in a radio interview.
“I probably should’ve just kind of stayed out of it and kept my mouth shut. I shouldn’t have accused somebody.”
