Injuries have been reported after a car crashed into an Amtrak train in South County, Mo. Monday.
A car collided with an Amtrak train Monday in St. Louis County, Mo., leaving two people injured and emergency crews racing to the scene, according to reports.
The collision occurred at about 6 a.m. local time south of the Jefferson Barracks Bridge in South County, an industrial area, Fox affiliate KTVI reports.
Emergency crews worked to free a person trapped inside the vehicle.
The extent of the injuries wasn’t immediately known.
