Mamma mia, it’s an ABBA reunion!
The members of pop supergroup reunited Wednesday to celebrate the opening of an ABBA-inspired restaurant in Stockholm, Sweden.
The group’s four members — Björn Ulvaeus, 70, Benny Andersson, 69, Agnetha Fältskog, 65, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, 70 — made the rare joint appearance for the launch of Ulvaeus’ new dining experience, “Mamma Mia! The Party.”

The restaurant, where musicians and actors interact with waiters and guests, borrowed the Greek-island setting from the “Mamma Mia!” musical and movie, although Ulvaeus said “it’s a completely different story.”
Fans of the Swedish pop group can sing along to the band’s hits at the restaurant, but according to Andersson, they shouldn’t expect the group itself to reunite on stage again.
“I don’t think so,” he said when asked about the prospect.
The foursome rose to stardom in the 1970s only to break up in 1982 after the two couples in the group divorced.
The restaurant opening marked the first time that ABBA’s members have made a joint public appearance since attending the 2008 film premieres for “Mamma Mia!” in London and Stockholm.
