The wife of bombing suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami — who scrammed out of America days before her husband allegedly terrorized New York and New Jersey — reportedly returned to America Wednesday night.

ABC News reported that Asia Bibi Rahami voluntarily came to New York, one day after agreeing to speak to U.S. federal authorities while in Dubai.

Authorities did not release any information about her return Thursday morning.

Rahami’s wife and his mother, Najiba Rahami, reportedly left the United States for Turkey shortly before Rahami allegedly set off bombs in New York City and the Jersey Shore. It remains unclear why they left, or if either had any clue to Rahami’s sinister plans.

Also unclear Thursday was the whereabouts of Rahami’s mother.

Rahami met his wife while traveling in the Middle East between April 2013 and March 2014, and they had a child. He lobbied for his wife to join him in the United States after he returned, and she joined him in May 2014 with their baby and a green card.
