The internet has come a long way since 1997 — and so have the Webby Awards.

It’ll be celebrating its 20th annual showcase of the web’s funniest clips, memes and music videos and the award’s latest category: virtual reality.

“Since its inception in 1997, the Webby Awards has celebrated inspiring talent and visionary innovation on the internet,” David-Michel Davies, the executive director said in a statement to the Daily News.

This year, the award received 13,000 entries from across 70 countries, where only a select few were nominated.

The list of stars up for awards include Caitlyn Jenner, Beyoncé, Trevor Noah and Jimmy Fallon.
