Wax Trump looms at U.S. embassy in London after visit nixed

He nixed, they waxed.

A Donald Trump waxwork was stationed outside the U.S. embassy in London on Friday after the President canceled his visit next month month to open the building.

Credit Madame Tussauds for the life-size waxy buildup dressed in a signature dark suit and overlong tie that stands near the $ 1 billion glass cube in the Nine Elms district.

“Trump cancelled his visit so we stepped in!” bragged @MadameTussauds. “It was certainly a surprise for the workmen at the Embassy. #TrumpVisit”

“I am not a big fan of the Obama Administration having sold perhaps the best located and finest embassy in London for “peanuts,” noted 45 in an ill-informed tweet, “only to build a new one in an off location for 1.2 billion dollars.”

Despite his tweet, the Guardian reported that Trump canceled the trip due to fears of massive protests when he landed in London.

Trump is facing harsh criticism after reports that he questioned immigration rules and arrivals from “sh–hole countries.”

Madame Tussauds unveiled the life-size waxwork of President Trump at its London museum in January last year.
