Teen cuffed in student’s rape at Washington Irving High School

Cops have arrested an 18-year-old student for raping a teen girl in a stairwell at Washington Irving High School near Union Square, officials said.

Jevon Martin, 18, was busted Monday just before 1 p.m., after he lured the 16-year-old victim into the stairwell between the third and fourth floor on Irving Place near E. 17th St. by snatching her backpack at about 8:20 a.m., police said.

He pushed her to the floor, ripped off her clothes and penetrated her while she begged him to stop and tried to push him off.

She was taken to Lenox Hill Healthplex in stable condition and identified her attacker to police.

Martin has no prior arrests, police said.
