Restaurant owner allegedly choked customer over cold fries

A restaurant owner named Donald Crump is accused of choking a customer after she complained that her food was cold.

Crump, of Crumpy’s Hot Wings in Memphis, Tenn., got into an argument with Rinesha Moore over cold fries last week, according to WMC Action News.

According to Moore, Crump walked out from behind the counter and pushed her before wrapping his hands around her neck.

“The man came from around the counter and strangled me,” Moore told the local news station. “He deserves a punishment for doing this to a woman.”

The restaurant owner, however, claims the fries cooled off after Moore was late picking up her to-go order.

He said Moore threw her food on the ground and took a swing at him, so he grabbed her by the neck and forced her into a corner, WREG reported.

Crump was booked on charges of aggravated assault.
