Frank Ntilikina may not get more playing time when the Knicks face the Pistons on Saturday night.
The point guard injured his left ankle while changing direction during Friday’s practice, and had to be helped off the court.
Despite the scary pictures from the aftermath of the injury, a source close to Ntilikina said he simply turned his ankle and is feeling much better while receiving treatment.
The Knicks are listing the rookie as questionable for Saturday’s game.
Ntilikina, the eighth overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, was on the floor for eight minutes during the Knicks’ opening night loss to the Thunder. He didn’t score any points on two attempts.
