Mary-Kate Olsen is now a married woman.
The 29-year-old actress married French investment banker Olivier Sarkozy at an intimate setting in Manhattan on Friday, Us Weekly is reporting.
The couple reportedly exchanged vows in a private garden in front of 50 guests before heading inside for the reception.
A source tells Us Weekly that the event was “small and lovely,” adding that both sets of parents were on hand.
The duo began dating in 2012, and they have regularly been seen out and about or at events together New York City, where they live together in a $ 6.25 million townhouse. They got engaged in early 2014 but had remained mostly tight-lipped about their relationship in the ensuing months.
Olsen gained nationwide notoriety at a young age when she split the child role of Michelle Tanner on ’80s and ’90s fan-favorite sitcom “Full House” with her twin sister, Ashley. The Olsen twins will not, however, return to star in the 2016 “Full House” reboot, “Fuller House,” even though the rest of the orginal cast is slated to resume their now-iconic roles.
Olsen has appeared in several other TV and movie roles since making a name for herself on the popular family series, often alongside her famous twin, though the sisters now focus most of their time on their two fashion lines.
The 46-year-old Sarkozy, meanwhile, is the brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. He has two kids from a previous marriage.
