Starting inside linebacker Darron Lee is inactive for the Jets’ game against the Chiefs Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
Lee was not listed on the injury report this week. The announcement is completely unexpected. The move was a coach’s decision, and Todd Bowles will address it after the game. Julian Stanford will start in Lee’s place.
Other Jets inactive include: quarterback Christian Hackenberg, cornerback Robert Nelson, cornerback Juston Burris, linebacker Freddie Bishop, offensive lineman Ben Ijalana and offensive lineman Jonotthan Harrison.

Burris suffered a concussion last week and was ruled out Friday. Running back Matt Forte (knee) and right guard Brian Winters (ankle, abdomen) – who were both questionable – are active after testing out their respective injuries Sunday morning.
Chiefs cornerback Darrelle Revis, who played for the Jets the past two seasons, is active and will make his season debut Sunday in East Rutherford against his former team. Revis will serve as one of Kansas City’s captains, ESPN reports.
