Jennifer Lawrence may star in a movie called “mother!” — but that doesn’t mean she plans on becoming one herself any time soon.
The actress, 27, says she was enamored with the idea of becoming a mom back when she was in her early 20s, but admits those feelings have since faded considerably.
“Not at all,” she told E! News. “(Those feelings) are actually getting less and less as I get older, which is starting to worry me. I don’t think that’s how it’s supposed to work.”
Lawrence recently went public with her relationship with filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, who directed her in “mother!”

She’s frequently raved about his brilliance as a moviemaker since, but neither she nor Aronofsky have spoken much publicly about their relationship.
It’s a busy few weeks for Lawrence, whose dark new drama has drawn critical acclaim leading up to its release in American theaters Friday. She stopped by NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Thursday evening, to discuss the movie, but ended up sharing a recent story about a bar fight she was involved in while working on a different film, “Red Sparrow,” in Budapest.
The incident started when, after a few drinks, she turned down a fan hoping to snap a photo with her. When the angry fan swore at her after she snubbed him, she grabbed him and began to pour beer on him and his suitcase.
“I don’t know, something inside me just snapped,” she told Meyers.

Her friend ultimately convinced her to settle down by telling her to stop wasting their beer.
“I instantly relaxed,” Lawrence recalled on the show. “I was like, ‘Of course! What was I thinking?'”
