Ivana Trump raises the possibility of Ivanka's bid for President

Ivanka for President?

At least her mother is on board. In her new book, Ivana Trump considers the possibilities for her daughter, writing, “Maybe in fifteen years, she could run for president?”

Ivana considers her own possible title, writing, “First Lady? Holds no appeal for me personally. First Mother? That could work.”

In her new book, “Raising Trump”, the 68-year-old glowingly recounts her marriage to Donald Trump, which lasted from 1977 to 1992, until the infamous confrontation with Marla Maples, who went on to become the Donald’s second wife.

Ivana Trump turns down Czech Republic ambassadorship

At least Donald Trump made a good first impression, according to Ivana. The real estate magnate nabbed a table at a hot Manhattan restaurant for her and her friends, paid the check and chauffeured her back to her hotel during their first meeting, she writes in the book.

“My instincts told me that Donald was smart and funny — an all-America good guy,” Ivana Trump said.

In a CBS News interview this week, Ivana revealed her ex-husband offered to appoint her as the ambassador to Czech Republic, where she was born and raised.

But she turned it down because she already has the “perfect life”, which includes jaunts to Saint-Tropez, and winters in Miami.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the ambassadorship post.
