After debuting at the age of 21 with the New York Yankees, Yogi Berra averaged .285/.348/.482 (batting average/on-base percentage/slugging percentage) over his 19 year career, a batting line that would put him among the ranks of today’s top hitters.

In his best offensive year, 1950, he hit .322/.383/.533, just below names like Jackie Robinson, Joe DiMaggio and Stan Musial.
