She had everything to live for — the man of her dreams, an 18-month-old baby girl and a high-powered career that brought her to the New York area.

Fabiola Bittar de Kroon, 34, the young mother killed Thursday in the horrific New Jersey Transit crash that left 108 injured, was an accomplished and driven woman who always carved out time for her family, a friend told the Daily News.

“She and her husband married several years ago and they spent a long time fostering a beautiful relationship,” said the friend, who studied with de Kroon in Florida when she was getting her MBA.

“They recently made the decision to have a child and I know that was really big for them. When the baby arrived it was hugely important to Fabiola,” said the friend, who asked to remain anonymous.

“It’s incredibly sad that this child won’t know her mother.”

De Kroon, who was from Santos, Brazil, married husband Daan de Kroom eight years ago, according to their social media pages.

The two lived in Miami, then Sao Paolo, the friend said.

“She was so outgoing, very smart and career-focused, but she was also open to other cultures. Her husband is from Europe,” her friend said.

“She loved being social, going out for meals, hanging out with friends — she and her husband were such a great couple to be with because they had such synergy together,” the friend said.

Eighteen months ago the happy couple welcomed a baby girl — and were doting parents, the friend said.

The young mother had been standing on the platform in Hoboken Terminal Thursday at 8:45 a.m. when the No. 1614 train on the Pascack Valley Line barrelled into the station.

It careened over a metal barrier and smashed into a waiting room.

De Kroon had left her daughter at day care, according to NBC 4 New York.

Her husband was traveling at the time of the accident and was returning to the city.

She was the lone fatality at the scene, officials said.

De Kroon worked until recently as a lawyer in Brazil for SAP, a global computer software program.

A spokesman for SAP said the company was “profoundly saddened” by de Kroon’s loss.

“We express our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and all those impacted by today’s tragic event,” the spokesman said.

The cause of the accident was still under investigation.

De Kroon’s mother and father live in her hometown of Santos, the friend said.

“She was so beautiful, so energetic, such a beautiful smile,” the friend said.

Her husband had recently posted on his Facebook page about their intended move — and welcomed friends to visit them.

“Will be hitting US soil soon … we’re moving to NY, would be an honor to welcome you there!” Daan de Kroon wrote in April.

In August, his wife posted to a Hoboken Mommies Facebook page, asking for directions to the beach.

“Mommies, we are planning a day trip to the beach this weekend with public transportation,” she wrote Aug. 5, according to NBC 4.

“Just moved to NJ, so no idea which beach would be nice in a fair distance (traveling with a 18 months baby). Any tips? TIA!!,” she added.
