A New Hampshire hospital went into lock-down after reports of an active shooter.
Police were looking into a reported shooting at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock hospital in Lebanon on Tuesday afternoon.
There was not confirmation that a shooting had occurred, though the City of Lebanon said at 3 p.m. that someone had been taken into custody.
Employees told WMUR that they had been evacuated or moved into a bank for safety during moments of terror at the medical facility.
Darmouth College, an Ivy League school whose main campus is two miles away from the hospital, said that the suspect was a 6-feet-one-inch man in a red camouflage shirt tall with salt and pepper blonde hair.
The college said that its non-medical campus was not on lock-down.
This is a developing story and will be updated
