President Trump failed to announce his Fake News Awards of the Year, but Chrissy Teigen never misses an opportunity to dress up.
The model, who had previously offered to host the event for the President, held her own ceremony instead.
“Just arrived here at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood,” Teigen said on Snapchat with a video from the theater lobby.
“The Fake News Media Awards are setting up now.”
She also posted video next to empty seats reserved for Jake Tapper, CNN, MSNBC.
Trumped announced the award show in early January, scheduling the “Most Dishonest & Corrupt Media Awards of the Year” for Jan. 3.
“Subjects will cover Dishonesty & Bad Reporting in various categories from the Fake News Media. Stay tuned!” he tweeted.
He later postponed the show until Wednesday, citing interest that “is far greater than anyone could have anticipated.”

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders downgraded the scheduled show to a “potential event” on Tuesday.
Trump has still not begun the award show as of 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
