Charles Woodson is telling Mike Francesa to “C’mon, man.”
The Sports Pope took aim at ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown,” calling this week’s show “the worst display of a football pregame in the history of mankind.”
Francesa said the show “infuriated” him, especially the “C’mon Man” segment.
“All they did is this ‘C’mon Man’ thing where they have these stupid, I mean inane, ridiculous pieces of video from all over the country and have these guys yell ‘C’mon Man’,” Francesa said. “If I was working on that I would be afraid to actually put that on the air, that’s how bad it was.”

Francesa said he wants to see more analysis from the former NFL athletes instead of them goofing around on the air.
“They showed Randy Moss pulling his pants down…I need to see that from 2008 or 2009, I couldn’t care about it then I’m going to care about it now? I mean, who cares,” Francesa said.
Twitter user BackAftaThis, who logs audio of Francesa’s shows, tweeted a clip of the segment at Woodson who later responded. The former cornerback referred to Francesa as “#nofunpolice.”
Woodson is on the ESPN show alongside Moss, Steve Young, Suzy Kolber, Chris Mortensen, Adam Schefter and Louis Riddick.
The tweet from Woodson was posted Thursday night, so Francesa has not been on air since. It’s likely someone will call into his show on WFAN Friday and ask him about it.
