The biggest “Star Wars” fan in the galaxy was practically panting in excitement at the “Last Jedi” trailer.
Gary, Carrie Fisher’s French bulldog, was photographed watching his mom put on General Leia’s costume for the last time.
“Just watched the new trailer of The Last Jedi and my mom looks more beautiful than ever,” the Instagram caption read.
“The Last Jedi” will be Fisher’s last role in the “Star Wars” universe; Lucasfilm will not create a CGI version of Fisher after her death.
The late actress adopted Gary around 2012 from daughter Billie Lourd to help deal with her bipolar disorder.

“Gary is mental also,” Fisher told the Herald-Tribune in 2013. “Gary is like my heart. Gary is very devoted to me and that calms me down. He’s anxious when he’s away from me.”
The “Last Jedi” trailer, released during Monday Night Football, teases an unlikely partnership between Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).
The movie hits theaters Dec. 15.
