Caitlyn Jenner is ‘grateful’ that her ritzy country club is accepting of her transition.
The “I am Cait” star shared her delight of getting a female locker at the Sherwood Country Club in California.
“Grateful for my new locker at Sherwood. #welcome #acceptance,” she tweeted with a photo of her new locker, which was engraved with her name.
The 66-year-old has been a member of the club for more than 15 years.
During her transition, the club made headlines for reportedly causing complications with her membership.
In a later statement, they denied the claims and said Jenner “continues to be a valued and long term member at the Club.”
In a September episode of her reality show, the topic of getting a locker at the exclusive club was addressed.
At the time, Sherwood was under construction and Jenner decided to apply as Bruce Jenner to one of their sister sites as Bruce was already registered and she said wanted to avoid confusion.
“I don’t have to worry about locker rooms and all that crap right now which I don’t want to worry about. I’ll worry about the locker rooms later on down the line,” she said in the episode.
“We’ll deal with all those issues down the way,” she added.
The news comes on the heels of South Dakota’s governor vetoing a bill on Tuesday that would have allowed transgender students to only use bathrooms and locker rooms that match their sex.
Jenner celebrated the decision on Twitter.
“Such great news! Thanks @SDGovDaugaard for keeping all kids safe today,” she tweeted.
The reveal of her locker comes day ahead of the season two premiere for her reality show this Sunday.
