Bond Girl Léa Seydoux says Harvey Weinstein tried to kiss her

Bond Girl Léa Seydoux says Harvey Weinstein tried to plant a kiss on her multiple times in a French hotel room.

The 32-year-old French actress joined the growing list of stars to come forward and accuse Weinstein of sexual assault Wednesday, when she detailed their encounter to the Guardian.

Seydoux — who said she believes the incident happened in 2012, but is not entirely sure — said that she was attending a Paris fashion show when she agreed to meet Weinstein in his hotel room to discuss acting opportunities, as she was still a star on the rise at the time.

Even then, though, the “Spectre” actress recognized that the movie mogul had ulterior motives — and that turning down his advances would prove difficult.

“This was never going to be about work,” she said. “He had other intentions — I could see that very clearly. All throughout the evening, he flirted and started at me as if I was a piece of meat… It was hard to say no because he’s so powerful.”

Once the pair headed to his hotel room, Seydoux says “very domineering” Weinstein lunged at her and attempted to kiss her.

“We were talking on the sofa when he suddenly jumped on me and tried to kiss me,” she said. “I had to defend myself. He’s big and fat, so I had to be forceful to resist him.”

Seydoux did fight back, though, adding that even though Weinstein tried to kiss her more than once, he eventually relented because, as she suspects, he respected her resistance.

The “Blue is the Warmest Color” actress told the Guardian she could not remember if Weinstein was ever actually able to kiss her, or what his reaction was when she bolted.

Seydoux said her greatest frustration is that Weinstein was able to get away with his alleged misconduct for years, before The New York Times and the New Yorker published shocking exposés.

“That’s the most disgusting thing. Everyone knew what Harvey was up to and no one did anything. It’s unbelievable that he’s been able to act like this for decades and still keep his career,” she said.

Seydoux also penned an op-ed for the outlet, and said that Weinstein is not the only industry big shot to abuse his power.

“Sometimes, it feels like you have to be very strong to be a woman in the film industry,” she wrote. “It’s very common to encounter these kinds of men.”

The actress went on to detail other skeevy encounters, including a director who told her he wanted to sleep with her, and another who tried to kiss her.

The disgraced Hollywood honcho has been accused of sexual assault by more than a dozen women, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashley Judd and Cara Delevingne.

“The more we talk about it, the less power we give them,” Delevingne wrote on social media Wednesday. “I urge you all to talk and to the people who defend these men, you are part of the problem.”
